Vicki has been with FactRight since 2021 and currently serves as the Senior Accountant and HR Manager. In this role, she oversees the firm’s financial operations and leads its human resources functions, while also supporting overall office administration. Vicki plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of internal processes that support FactRight’s operational goals.
Prior to joining FactRight, Vicki spent 20 years in nonprofit, public, and small business accounting. She specialized in nonprofit accounting for over 11 years, focusing on grant management, compliance, and detailed financial reporting. At a public CPA firm, she managed clients’ ongoing accounting needs and reviewed audit reports before finalization. Her experience spans full-cycle accounting, audit preparation, and client-focused financial operations, providing a strong foundation for supporting FactRight’s internal financial and operational integrity.

As the DST market has grown over the past several years, the nuances of available programs have proliferated. Given the structural requirements of Revenue Ruling 2004-86, these programs do not behave like traditional real estate investments in certain respects. In our experience working with wealth advisory firms seeking 1031 solutions for their clients, understanding the differences among master lease structures in the market can be a common hurdle. Closely related is how a particular structure may behave differently in various performance scenarios, and how the property underwriting interacts with that structure.
