Andrew joined FactRight in 2025 as a Manager. He focuses primarily on the review of private placements, including private real estate funds and other private equity strategies. Andrew also supports FactRight’s operational due diligence efforts, with particular emphasis on organizational analysis, governance, and acquisition and asset management processes.
Before joining FactRight, Andrew worked at an institutional asset management firm, where he provided business and legal analysis for a multi-client portfolio of private equity, private credit, and venture capital investments. During his tenure, he underwrote more than $1 billion in commitments across more than 100 unique offerings. He also launched and scaled the firm’s low-income housing tax credit program to $125 million in commitments.
Earlier in his career, Andrew worked for a management consulting firm serving health systems, hospitals, and physician groups, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning.

Given the structural requirements of Revenue Ruling 2004-86, these programs do not behave like traditional real estate investments in certain respects. In our experience working with wealth advisory firms seeking 1031 solutions for their clients, understanding the differences among master lease structures in the market can be a common hurdle. Closely related is how a particular structure may behave differently in various performance scenarios, and how the property underwriting interacts with that structure.
